The artist who brought the “Doggy Bags” installation to the Garment District last September is back with a sculpture that will help us shed a light on kibble, the over-processed ingredients that go into it, and the high-heat cooking methods that give us a less natural meal.
We've commissioned artist, Will Kurtz, to craft the sculpture named, “One Sad Kibble Dog.” It brings the story to life using an unexpected medium – dry dog food. The piece stands 9-feet tall and is in the likeness of an overweight and lethargic bulldog; illustrating how our pets might feel after years and years of eating the same processed pellets of powdered meat.
Freshpet will be on the ground at Domino Park, Brooklyn for a limited time this June with activities to engage pets and pet parents, and visitors will also have a chance to win a three-month supply of Freshpet during the installation. Join us in Brooklyn to learn just how!
