An older couple began by taking in strays dumped on their property. Until the neighbors complained so they scraped some money together and bought a run-down former nursery building and grounds. They take in older shelter dogs facing euthanasia because they are older and often require regular medical care/therapy/medicines. They pay for all vet care, therapy, and meds for people who "forever foster" the dogs. OFSDS currently has approx. 120 dogs in the sanctuary and approx. 250 in foster homes. They are in desperate need of funds to help build a bigger facility as the current one is very overcrowded and old and needs frequent upkeep. Help them help more of these older dogs find their forever foster family to provide the love these old ones need and deserve. Thank you!
