Large, Is a finicky eater

My Picky Boys

I have two rescue dogs. A Papillon/Beagle mix named Sully Maxwell, and a Bulldog/Great Dane named Owen Riley. We rescued Sully as a young puppy and other than being small with little legs… so weight is important, he’s a healthy 5 year old love, BUT SO PICKY. I tried every type of natural, regular, raw, dry and wet dog food under the sun. He would always eat some wet but never dry, ever! Owen on the other hand came to us as a young puppy, but isn’t is good health as Sully. Owen is almost one. Whoever had him thought it would be a great idea to throw him out of the vehicle and left them to fend for themselves in the wooded street with no help. Disgusting! He has a horrible gate, and very bad legs in the back, and is so scared of being in a car. His eating habits, funny as it is were the same as Sully, he would eat wet food but just had no interest in dry food. Then one day I discovered Fresh Pet in Target the cold bag of roasted meals and wet cold roll puppy for Owen and adult for Sully. To my relief everything was eaten. About three weeks ago I saw a bag of Freshpet dry food and I was so excited I almost cried. I knew my boys had found the nutrition of dry food and the would eat it …. I just knew it . I came home opened the bag of the dry and my boys wet crazy they each ate a bowl of just the dry food, I just couldn’t believe it. Never happened before. That was about three plus weeks ago and I’m happy to report they still are eating the dry food along the Freshpet bagged wet and the roll. For the first time in years I could relax about food, they were happy and they were eating. Thank You Freshpet!

They eat Freshpet dry Fresh Turkey Recipe, Freshpet Select Tender Chicken and Potato roll refrigerated, and Freshpet Select Roasted Meals with Tender Chicken Recipe with carrots and spinach.

They are waiting for dog biscuits!
